Wedding – Robin & Matt

Gregg of Ambient DJ did a fantastic job. Our wedding and reception was at the family farm out in the New Jersey countryside. Gregg was the only DJ willing to drive the distance out there to meet us and do an initial survey of the site (without even a signed contract!). This shows unparalleled dedication and a level of service that is not often found these days. In addition, Gregg’s prices were unbeatable by any other DJ service we spoke with. Most other DJ’s gave us a base price and then were very quick to nickel and dime us for every little thing. However, Gregg gave us an up front price that included everything. No one could beat it.

On the day of, Gregg arrived on time (well in advance of our event) and looked very classic and polished in a tuxedo. We had unique introductions for each member of the wedding party (with dedicated music for each person), and Gregg handled the narrative and music exactly as we requested. For the actual reception, he didn’t talk on the mic more than he had to, but he did well at keeping the party going. He coordinated with our wedding planner to be flexible and adaptable as the schedule changed on the day of. Our party went an hour later than expected, and he had a lot to do with that. By reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor, nobody wanted the night to end! It was high energy and everyone had a great time!

Gregg is a true professional at what he does. He is thorough, pays attention to the details (just check out his DJ planner worksheet!) and will do everything he can to make your event a spectacular success. We are very grateful for the work he did for our wedding.
